Head chef Michel Hulin uses fresh produce from the restaurant's extensive organic kitchen garden, as well as locally grown olive oils.

A la carte & set menus are available and you can dine in their contemporary dining room or outside on a pretty terrace. The restaurant is part of the Baumaniere Hotel complex.

Please note that the restaurant is closed from 15th October to 15th April, weekly from Sunday dinner to Tuesday lunchtime included. You can reserve your table by clicking on the website link on this page.

2. Domaine de Manville Restaurant, Les Baux

Fine regional cuisine by a Michelin-star experienced chef, made only with fresh local produce. Located at the Domaine de Manville Hotel.

Chef Matthieu Dupuis-Baumal has worked in several Michelin-starred, and he only serves produce fromthe Alpilles and Provence, expressing their seasonal treasures in his cuisine. Orchards and vegetable gardens, locally-raised lamb, traditional artichokes a la barigoule, slowly roasted tomatoes, apricots paired with rosemary honey, sun-gorged strawberries from Carpentras.

Creative and spontaneous, he draws inspiration from his immediate surroundings, from the terroir around him, from the beautiful market in Cavaillon, from his outings in the hills and mountains from the Alpilles to Mont Ventoux, where he finds mint, citronnella, flowering thyme and wild strawberries and works with devoted local suppliers. He is also inspired by his many international trips, most recently to Brazil, Mexico, Korea, Japan and Italy.

A great place for a gourmet dinner in their elegant dining room or the pleasant terrace.

3. L'Oustau de Baumaniere Restaurant, Les Baux de Provence

Beautifully presented French cuisine awaits you at L'Oustau de Baumanière. The elegant dining room is set in a vaulted stone hall and it opens up on to a terrace for dining during the warmer seasons.

With three Michelin stars, you can expect to pay top dollar but we suspect the experience is worth every penny. The restaurant is set within the luxury Relais & Chateau L'Oustau de Baumanière Hotel and is open throughout the year except for annual closures in the low season - check with the restaurant for the annual dates.

Cooking classes are also held at the restaurant and visitors are given the chance to spend time with a Michelin-starred chef and sample their dishes over lunch in the historic dining room.

Please note that the restaurant is closed from 15th October to 15th April, weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays. In summer it is open from noon until 14:00 and 19:00 to 22:00. You can reserve your table by clicking on the website link on this page.

Situated in the heart of the charming village of Les Baux, this restaurant boasts a cosy patio terrace where you can enjoy the most authentic Provençal cuisine.

Fresh vegetables, cheese, fish and meat fill up this restaurant's short menu. A great place for a romantic lunch.

Open every day 11:30-17:00.

Chef Mathieu Groshenry has worked in more than one Michelin-starred restaurant before returning to his birthplace, Provence, to create an ever-changing menu based on regional produce.

The menu changes every day according to what is available at the market, especially focused on local vegetables and fish. For lunch they offer simpler dishes based on traditional French bistro, while dinner is time for finer and more creative recipes which can be enjoyed in different set menus, with a tasting menu costing 75€.

They also offer cooking lessons. Located in the luxurious Benvengudo Hotel.

Open every evening from 9 March 2018 - 1 January 2019, dinner is served from 19:30-21:30. During high season (27th April - 15th September 2018) it is open daily.

This restaurant is situated in Le Mas d'Aigret Hotel and they serve traditional Provençal cuisine made with fresh seasonal produce.

Chef Eric Vallette produces tasteful and original dishes based on classical French recipes with sweet Provençal flavours. They are elaborated according to the season using typical local produce such as black olive oil, aubergine, tomato, basil, melon, rosemary, fish and lamb.

The dining room has been carved in the rock (you can even make out fossils and shells) and decorated in a Provençal style, dominated by a fireplace. There is also a panoramic terrace with views over Les Baux valley, the Alpilles and the medieval castle under the shade of the mulberry trees.

During the summer season (May 15th - end of September) they open every day 12:00-14:00 and 19:00-21:00.

In Spring and Autumn it is open every evening from 19:00 to 21:00 and Saturdays & Sundays from 12:00 to 14:00.

The restaurant is closed every other day for lunch, except for groups from 8 people (booking 3 days in advance). In October and November, it is closed on Wednesday evenings as well.

7. La Reine Jeanne Restaurant, Les Baux

Authentic, refined cuisine using fresh market produce in a menu that changes with the seasons.

Chef Jean-Pierre Novi creates authentic Provençal cuisine, and his aioli is especially famous. Their terrace, shaded by mulberry trees, is a great place to enjoy a meal, as is the large dining room with wonderful views over the valley.

Open every day, 12:00-14:30 and 19:00-21:00.
