Avignon Night Club in Running for 'Best Club' in France
The Annual 'Trophees de la Nuit' will take place in Monaco
November 11, 2014, will see the 20th edition of the event which celebrates and recognises the best in bars, clubs, restaurants and the night life industry in general.
The evening will be held at the Hotel Fermont in Monaco. Categories for the awards include: Creation & Innovation, Quality & Service, Best Venue for Live Music, Best Night Club, Best Atmosphere and the prestigious "Trophee de l'Institution".
Among the twenty establishments in contention, one nightclub from the Vaucluse region has made its way to the top of its field. The Avignon night club Bokao's, will compete in the "Clubbing" category.
"We learned early in the summer, it's pride, it's the first time, " says Sébastien Loger, former director of L'Absolute (Sarrians), who took over Bokao's three years ago. "In Monaco, we will be underdogs because we are faced with two major structures: La Plage, in Bordeaux, which has a capacity of 6,000 people, and Le Club 79 in Paris."
Founded in 1990 and with a capacity of 800, Bokao's has seen a revival in the last 3 years with the booking of more top name DJ's, additional laser and animations and the brand development with textiles (t-shirts, caps, etc.).
On November 11, all eyes will be glued to awards ceremony to see if Bokao's can come out on top and the city of Avignon can boast the title of having the 'Best Night Club' in France!
