Cafe du Commerce, Annot

Traditional cafe in the central square of Annot

featured in Cafes & delis Updated

Located just by the town hall, this is a typical French village cafe, perfect for a light tasty lunch or just to have a coffee on the terrace and watch the locals play a game of boules.

They serve salads, bruschettas, sandwiches, and daily hot specials (normally twice a week, but every day in July and August), as well as delicious desserts. Country home-style cuisine made with fresh produce. Frequented by locals, they offer good quality and good value for a lunch stop on the Train des Pignes.

Closed on Wednesdays except in July and August.

Visitor comments

  • "Whether you want just a café, a pastis or a meal you can get it here! During July & August they offer a variety of salads, sandwiches, hot dishes and desserts; all are very good! During the rest of the year there are special "plats du jour" on Tuesday & Thursday, plus bruschettas & pasta & desserts available for lunch the rest of the week. Very good country-homestyle cooking, presented well and very friendly service. I live in Annot and eat here regularly all through the year. Indoor and outdoor tables; you can sit on the terrace and enjoy the view or a boules game or sit inside and watch the PMU on TV. Great place to spend an hour (or more?) soaking up the ambiance of Annot. Closed on Wednesdays except in July-August." - Trip Advisor
