The Cavaillon melon festival is a day of spectacles around the town with evening markets and melon-tasting.
The event takes place each year, on the weekend before 14th July and you'll find all kinds of things to see and do, all related to this well-loved local fruit. Cooking competitions, tastings, street stalls, banquets, street parade, running of Camargue horses and live music in the streets.
