Step back in time with parades, markets and costumes
This is a three-day Renaissance re-enactment celebrating the cultural heritage of Salon de Provence.
The Renaissance Festival re-enacts the time Catherine de Medici came to Salon de Provence with her royal court, who apparently came to consult Nostradamus on the future of her children. Expect to see people parading through the streets in 16th century costume, with lots of craft stalls, storytellers, and animations.
The event takes place on the last weekend in June.
