Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie formed a joint venture with the Perrin family in Châteauneuf-du-Pape to develop the 'Miraval Côtes de Provence' in 2012.

With the combined reputation and fame of celebrities Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie and wine region Châteauneuf-du-Pape, it was of no surprise when the online sales for the first bottles of wine from Chateau Miraval sold out within hours.

The couple teamed up with the Perrin family of winemakers, to develop the "Miraval Côtes de Provence", named after the Chateau in Provence they acquired in 2008 for 40 million euros. Near the town of Brignoles, the seventeenth-century building is now a summer home for Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie and is surrounded by 50 hectares of vines.

A further 100,000 bottles of the rosé cuvée Miraval 2012 will be available worldwide to restaurants and wine merchants. Other Miraval wines should follow soon, two whites and two reds.
