The International Association of Arles Santon Fair is intended to mark and appreciate the nativity scenes and figurines of Provence, in all regions of France and all countries respecting national, regional and local traditions.
These figures are often seen in nativity scenes and a very traditional art form in many countries. Provence, in particular, is very fond of these figurines and you will often find them in craft markets.
This event is a celebration of them in an international setting in the heart of the medieval city of Arles.
