Blue Green l'Esterel Golf Course, Saint Raphael

18 hole golf course designed by Trent Jones Snr

Featured in
Golf

The golf course is situated near the famous Riviera resort of Saint Raphael on the outskirts of Cap Esterel.

The natural undulation of the terrain and long, narrow fairways make this a fairly challenging course. Each hole looks out onto magnificent views either of the Bay d'Agay or the foothills of the Esterel mountain range.

The club is open year round and offers a warm welcome to all levels of player, as well as excellent facilities including driving range, chipping area, putting green and a clubhouse with pro shop, restaurant and bar.

The neighbourhood

Saint Raphael is a picturesque fishing village on the Cote d'Azur that has become one of the popular tourist destinations of the French Riviera. Most well known for it's beaches and seafood restaurants, it is also a great spot for mountain sports such as hiking and climbing due the rugged Esterel mountains that loom up behind it. The historic town of Frejus is just a few kilometres to the west.

The Restaurant

The restaurant serves a simple menu of fresh local produce, particularly seafood. There is a terrace overlooking the golf course, where you can enjoy lunch or simply unwind with a drink after a game of golf. The restaurant is open seven days a week and can be hired for private events.

Directions

The golf course is just 5km north of the town centre of Saint Raphael and can easily be reached via the coastal road that links all the main Riviera resorts such as Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Saint Tropez, etc.
