This renowned golf course lies in the heart of Provence between the historic towns of Aix, Marseille and Brignoles.

At the foot of the Sainte Baume Massif, the course is surrounded by mountains, pine forests and typical Provencal scenery.

The course offers a variety of challenges to all levels of golfer with water obstacles, raised tees and greens. As well as the 18-hole course, the club also has a driving range, chipping area and putting green. Those who want a few pointers on how to raise their game can book a lesson with the teaching pro.

The clubhouse has a restaurant, bar, changing rooms, pro shop and a swimming pool.

The neighbourhood

Located in a tranquil part of Provence, the nearest village is the charming medieval settlement of Nans les Pins, where you can see many ruins and historical remains. Venture further into the countryside and you'll find plenty of hiking trails leading you into the mountains.

Day trips in the area include visits to the well known towns of Marseilles, Toulon and Aix en Provence.

Directions

The golf club can be reached in about 40 minutes from Aix en Provence by following the A8 and then turning off for Nan-les-Pins.

If you're driving up from the coast you can follow the A50 from either Marseilles or Toulon, both routes taking around 45 to 50 minutes.
