Visitor comments

  • "As we were driving to the Camargue from Arles, we noticed a sign for the Musee de la Camargue and said "why not?" What we found was an excellent small museum with well done exhibits that gave an introduction to the history and culture of the delta of the Rhone River. Enough to be extremely interesting, but not overwhelming (and enough English to overcome my horrible French)." - Trip Advisor
  • "Unmatchable as the Camargue landscape is, so is this museum - an ancient sheep pen - housing the history and objects from the 19th c. to the present day. Outside reigns an overpowering landscape and inside four wide exhibition rooms lead the visitors through the changes in the hostile landscape, human adaptation to it, nature protection policies, feelings of belonging of the inhabitants, a photographic show covering two centuries. " - Trip Advisor
  • “Excellent small museum about all aspects of Camargue life” - Trip Advisor
