L'Ingenue Restaurant, Mazan
Gourmet restaurant at the foot of Mont Ventoux
Part of the Chateau de Mazan Hotel, this restaurant serves the unique and creative cuisine of chef Franck Pujol. He subtly blends products from the earth and the sea playing with contrast: hot and cold, sweet and sour, etc.
All the dishes use only fresh produce combined in innovative ways. Especially surprising are his takes on a regional ingredient: foie gras.
On warm summer evenings, diners can enjoy his creations on the terrace overlooking the garden. The dining room has mouldings that are a hundred years old and perhaps witnessed the first ever drama festival organised by the Marquis de Sade in the chateau in 1722.
