Chateau Virant

Cotes de Provence, a fine selection of white, red & rose wines

Imprint
Updated

A producer of both wine and olive oil, Chateau Virant is run by the Cheylan family. Grape varieties include Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon & Grenache. Visitors are welcome to view the Chateau's vaults, cellar, vineyards & olive groves.

Situated on a rocky outcrop overlooking the property in the Sainte Victoire region, the underground cellars of the Chateau Virant were born in 1632. Production developed in the 1890's and the cellars of the chateau grew. Modernisation happened in the 1970's and it has continued to produce high quality wines and olive oils since then.

The cellars are open throughout the year Monday-Saturday: 8:00 to 12:00, and 14:00 to 18:30. Sundays from 8:30 to 12:00, and 14:30 to 18:30. Tour groups are welcome with prior arrangement.
