Visitor comments

  • "Moving photos and presentations of the French resistance to the Nazis and the taking of the French Jews to concentration camps." - Trip Advisor
  • "This museum of 1939-1945, focusing on daily life for the citizens and the resistance movement, provides a grim and detailed look at this dark time in France's past. Original artifacts, documents, photos, chilling propaganda posters, and detailed descriptions bring the period to life. However, one caveat for non-French speakers is that it's almost all in French. My husband and I took French in high school and are rusty French speakers at best. We read a little better than we speak, and were able to make sense of many of the exhibit descriptions." - Trip Advisor
  • "We were very keen to see this museum which has a huge collection of well presented material about the resistance movement in the area during World War II. Unfortunately all the displays only had explanations in French and whilst we were given an audio explanation in English this did not seem to relate to the actual displays." - Trip Advisor
