Splashworld waterpark opens this weekend

2 day opening of France's biggest waterpark near Avignon

This impressive waterpark was just being completed at the end of last summer, but now it's officially finished, they're ready to open their doors for the summer.

Splashworld includes a surf simulator, lots of waterslides, a river feature and plenty of child friendly areas. You can also hire cabanas and come later in the day to enjoy a sunset splash and a drink.

As of this weekend (4th and 5th June 2016) they'll be having a soft opening ahead of the official summer opening date on 11th June. After that date the park will be open 7 days a week from 10am to 7pm and they're expecting in the region of 350,000 visitors.

Family passes cost 100 euros for 2 adults and 3 children or you can buy adult tickets for 28 euros, child tickets for 19.50. Children under 3 go free.
