Miraval opens the season for Provence Rosé 2015
2015 was an exceptional year for wine...said to be perhaps a little down on quantity, but most certainly up on quality and flavour, Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie's Miraval has opened the season a full two weeks ahead of last year.
“Miraval Rosé 2015 is a nectar of the gods. It is nature at its best, grapes in perfect harmony in the vineyard, and sun of course, because we are in Provence.” says Marc Perrin of Famille Perin, who are responsible for the Château Miraval label, "It is without any doubt the best vintage yet at Miraval.”.
Château Miraval, has a long history and has always been a place dedicated to the arts. Now owned by the A-list couple Brad Pitt & Angenlina Jolie, their rosé wine has become a serious wine in it's own right...not just riding on the coat tails of their fame and fortune. An award winning wine in fact, that is a fine example of the delicate pale pink colour, exceptional fruit with immense freshness and minerality, that we have come to love from the Provence region.
So with spring in the air, the lighter nights and the general feeling that we deserve it...let's crack open a bottle!
