Etienne Gonnet, created Font de Michelle in 1950. This 30 hectare vineyard is situated in the southeast of the Châteauneuf du Pape AOC.

In 2002 the estate expanded with a magnificent 20 ha Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône Signargues property situated at Domazan in the Gard - La Font du Vent.

The winery is open for tastings and offers visitors the chance to discover more about the history of the region and about the land and agricultural methods of the estate. Open from Tuesday to Saturday from 09:00 until 12:00 and then again in the afternoon from 14:00 until 19:00.

There are two tasting option available; The Tasting Experience which offers brief visit of the Domaine and a tasting of our current vintages. Or The Grand Cru Experience which is a guided visit of the vines, the history of the Chateauneuf du Pape area, a guided tour of the production area plus a taste of current vintages and an older vintage so that you can understand the aging process. If you have to come during harvest time you may also be offered the opportunity to cut the grapes. For the Grand Cru Experience you should book in advance by emailing kelly@font-de-michelle.com.
