Vineyard & truffle growers where you can take part in truffle hunting
This vineyard in Richerenches is renowned not only for its wine making but also for truffle hunting, which takes place from November to March each year.
Demonstrations take place of how truffles are found and dug up by the owner of the vineyard and his dog and you can take part (by appointment) for an hour up to a full day.
It costs around 10 euros per person which includes a tour of where the truffles can be found as well as wine tasting.
The vineyard sells its wines, truffles and truffle based products all year round.

Directions
The vineyard can be found between Orange and Montelimar, in the north west corner of Provence. From the A7 motorway come off at Bollene and from here it's around a 25 minute drive to the estate.
