The Cherry festival of Provence in the pretty town of Venasque
The Producers of the cherries 'Mont de Venasque' in Carpentras organize a celebration of this sought after fruit.
Entry to this annual event is free. Tasting and sale of cherries and regional produce with cooking demonstrations and refreshments available.
From 14h to17h there are free guided visits of the village and a walk amongst the cherry orchards.
Of course the local producers will be selling their cherries and products from other regions of France will also be on sale.
Free Parking and shuttle to and from the venue.
