This organic Michelin starred restaurant is situated just 12km outside Arles on the road to Sambuc and is run by the chef Armand Arnal.
The menu at La Chassagnette is in sync with the seasons and the produce come either from Arnal's organic garden or from local sustainable sources. Vegetables are put front and centre at this restaurant, not normally the case with French cuisine, so it is a great option for those that don't eat meat. However fish and meat are often featured on the menu.
The interior of the restaurant isn't fussy and aristocratic like so many others in its class in France; it is bright, modern and modest. During the summer months diners can enjoy the simple sunny terrace.
