Now, with a little help from André’s friend, the renowned interior designer Christophe Pillet, that dream has become a reality. From the outside Hotel B Design & Spa is every bit the typical country residence. Shrouded by sun-dappled olive trees and overlooking fields of heady purple lavender, it is as much a part of the landscape as the limestone karsts it sits in front of.

Glass panes scatter the light that streams in through black slatted doors, illuminating open spaces, while understated yet ultra-comfortable sofas and armchairs provide somewhere to enjoy the simplicity of the design. Everything you see, from the solid wooden tables to the black metal balustrades, has been built with quality in mind.
