Cloitre Saint-Louis Hotel
Historical city hotel in the West of Provence
Originally a 16th century Jesuit seminary, the Cloitre Saint Louis is set in a peaceful cloister within Avignon's old town.
The hotel has 80 bedrooms and you can choose from a traditional or contemporary style room. All their rooms include air-conditioning, satellite TV, WiFi access and safe as standard.
Unusually for a city centre hotel, it boasts an outdoor swimming pool, which is located on the roof and enjoys fantastic views of the centre of Avignon. There is also a tranquil garden which provides a peaceful haven from the bustling metropolis.
Private parking at the hotel is available for a surcharge of €12 per day (€15 during July).

The pool
The hotel's pool is on the roof! So whilst soaking up the sun on one of their many sun-loungers, you can enjoy the view of the city below.
The pool is open from May to September, weather permitting.
The Bar
The bar is situated in one of the alcoves of the vaulted dining room. It has subdued lighting where you can enjoy cocktails and a refreshing glass of champagne.
The Restaurant
Elegant and stylish within a magnificent vaulted room. This dining room has plenty of character with a view of the cloister's courtyard.
They offer first class modern French cooking - it is certainly something to look forward to each day.
The restaurant is open for lunch (12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.) and dinner (7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.)
On Sundays the do a brunch service from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Directions
By Air:
Avignon has it's own airport so you can fly directly to the city and be in the centre in just 20 minutes.
By Car:
Take exit 22-Roquemaure from the A9/E15. Merge onto N580, continue onto the D6580, then take the D6100 continuing along the Pont de l'Europe and the Bd St-Dominique (N570). Turn left onto the Porte de la Republique. Continue onto Cours Jean Jaures. Turn left onto Bd Raspail and then take the 1st left onto the Rue du Portail Boquier.
By Train
You can take the train directly into Avignon. The TGV station is just 9 minutes by car from the hotel or the central station is just a short 5 minute walk away.
