Domaine Juliette Avril Vineyard, Chateauneuf du Pape
A small family run estate of 38 hectares
The Avril family along with other local figures were instrumental in establishing the rules for developing Chateauneuf du Pape wines, even before the AOC was introduced.
The estate consists of 38 hectares of vineyard, including 22 hectares of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, 6 hectares of Côtes du Ventoux and 2 hectares of Vin de Pays de Vaucluse, Côtes du Rhône Villages Cairanne and Plan de Dieu.
Wines produced here are AOC Chateauneuf du Pape red and white, AOC Côtes du Villages "Plan de Dieu" red, AOC Cairanne red and AOC Ventoux red.
The cellar is open for visit and tastings.

When to come
The winery is open Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 18:00. On Saturdays it's open from 10:00 to 18:00 - Sundays are by appointment only.
