Charming campsite at a traditional Provencal family farm
Family-run and friendly, this campsite is in the grounds of an old farm, surrounded by beautiful countryside.
Located 800m from the center of the small town of Saint Remy de Provence in the Bouches du Rhône region, in the heart of the Natural Park of the Alpilles this campsite offers many great options for day trips and exploring the local area.
The campsite started out in 1974 on a family farm, with rows of tents appearing amongst the apple and pear orchards. It is run by the same family today, with the same ethos of offering friendly accommodation in a clean and pleasant environment.
The family farmhouse built in 1857 is still in place, and the campsite itself is full of beautiful flowers and typical Provencal plants. There are 140 pitches amongst the trees, including including 12 mobile homes.
Facilities on the campsite include a restaurant, swimming pool, table tennis, petanque, football pitch, air-conditioned library, grocery store, toilet/shower blocks, laundry, bike rental, and camping gas deposit.
During the school holidays there is a kids club full of fun activities such as treasure hunts, archery, volleyball, mountain bike riding, etc.

The neighbourhood
The campsite is in a quiet rural area, surrounded by open fields and the odd farmhouse. It is just 1km to the nearest town of St Remy de Provence.
The pool
The heated outdoor swimming pool measures 18m x 10m and is open from April to October. It is surrounded by a sunbathing terrace with deckchairs and has a paddling pool for small children.
The Bar
You can enjoy drinks on the restaurant terrace in the evening, beside the swimming pool.
The Restaurant
The restaurant is open from 1st of June to the beginning of September, serving breakfasts, lunches, and evening meals either indoors or out on the terrace beside the pool. Outside of normal dining hours drinks, snacks and ice creams are served all day and into the evening. The cuisine is freshly prepared using typical Provencal ingredients and local produce.
Directions
The campsite is just 25km south of Avignon along the D5, or 75km north of Marseilles airport via the A7.
Child policy
This campsite is very family friendly, as well as having baby changing facilities and a children's playground, they also run an activity-packed kids clubs during the peak summer months.
