Python Snakes it's Way Through Building in Avignon
Not the kind of welcome you expect when you pop home!
At around 1pm on Monday an Avignon resident came across a python making its way through the lobby of a building close to the centre of the city.
Said to be around 50cm in length the creature was removed by firefighters, not their typical emergency call! The snake was then taken to the zoo in Barben, which is situated to the east of Salon de Provence to join some other slithery friends.
