Comfortable camping in the village of Castallanes
This campsite has an ideal location, right in the heart of the old town of Castellane and conveniently close to the Verdon gorges and many local activities.
Camping Frédéric Mistral offers 65 tents and 17 static caravans on a flat and shady hectare of land. 48 empty spaces are reserved for those who wish to bring their own tents or caravans. All spaces are equipped with an electrical hook-up point.
The campsite is well-equipped and has WiFi, 2 sanitation blocks with showers and toilets, a laundry block and dish washing facilities. Baby changing areas and disabled facilities make the campsite accessible and welcoming to everyone.
There are also a number of mini-chalets, each with their own terrace and outdoor dining furniture.
The campsite could not be more central and it is a very short walk into the centre of Castellane, a pleasant town with charming old buildings and medieval walls.
The campsite does not have a restaurant but there are many places to eat within easy walking distance.
The campsite is in the centre of Castellane on Avenue Frederic Mistral. Castellane is 90km north west of Cannes, driving along the Route Napoleon/D6085 via Grasse.
Children are made very welcome at the campsite. There are baby changing facilities in the shower blocks and a small children's play area on the grounds.
