La Grangeonne Campsite, Gorges du Verdon

Pleasant campsite in a great location for outdoor activities

Surrounded by deep gorges, towering mountains and fields of lavender is this quiet campsite in a lovely rural spot.

In the heart of the Verdon Regional Park, is this family-friendly campsite offering mobile homes, caravans, or tent pitches. The pitches are all well-spaced and under the shade of trees.

Facilities include hot showers, washing machines, morning delivery of fresh bread and pastries, snack bar, WiFi, ping pong and table football.

The campsite is in Esparron de Verdon, a small village beside a beautiful lake. There is plenty to do in the area, from water sports to local markets.

The campsite is open from early May to late September 21. Dogs are welcome.

The neighbourhood

The campsite is near to the village and lake of Esparron, with the lake being about 10-15 minutes walk from the campsite. The area is quiet and peaceful, with fantastic views and lots of hiking trails to explore.

The pool

The campsite does not have a swimming pool but the nearby lake has lifeguards during the peak summer months.

The Restaurant

The campsite does not have a full restaurant but you can order fresh bread for the mornings. Snacks, drinks and ice creams can also be bought on-site.

Directions

Esparron is about an hour south of Sisteron along the A51, or 2 hours west of Nice along the A8.

Child policy

The campsite is family-friendly and children will find plenty to do.
