Relaxing campsite with swimming pool in a peaceful location
Enjoy a traditional French experience, playing petanque and listening to the sound of the grasshoppers in this rural retreat in the heart of the wine region.
100 pitches for tents and caravans are nestled in the shade of pine and oak trees. Open from 1st April to 30th September, the campsite not only offers space for you to pitch your own tent but also a number of fully equipped mobile homes and cottages.
The campsite is situated 2km from the centre of Saint-Maximin, in the centre of the Provencal wine region.
During the peak summer months the campsite team organise a number of entertainments such as dance evenings, karaoke, family games, and bingo.
The campsite has good facilities for a relaxing stay - swimming pool, playground, games room, pétanque pitch and football/volleyball courts.
Services include an on-site shop with fresh bread deliveries, bar, restaurant, library, laundry, electric hook-up and BBQ. The nearest supermarket is 3km away in the town of Nurby.
The campsite is in a quiet leafy residential area, just 3km from the town of Saint Maximin.
The outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by a sunbathing area and there is a small terrace serving snacks and drinks. Aquagym and other activities are organised during the peak summer months.
Restaurant Le Provencal offers traditional dishes made from fresh local ingredients or pizzas baked in the wood stove. Enjoy your meal in the dining room or on the terrace overlooking the pool. Special events can be catered for on request.
There are plenty of lovely hikes in the area, you can explore ancient marble quarries, rolling hills to the south and the area around Pourrieres. A traditional Provencal-style market is held every Wednesday morning.
