This tranquil, flat and shaded camp site offers 44 spaces for tents, and 11 mobile homes, beside a small river that leads to the Verdon.
The mobile homes each sleep up to 4 people and comprise a lounge, 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, and bathroom. They each have a terrace with parasol and outdoor dining furniture.
The campsite is well equipped and facilities include WiFi, BBQ area, pizza delivery service, café, and electrical hook-ups for caravans (230V, 6A).
The campsite is just 600m from the nearest shops and there is a public swimming pool less than 1km away. The famous Gorges du Verdon are within 5km.
The campsite is in a quiet spot beside a small river that leads to the larger river of Verdon, where you can enjoy rafting, canoing, and kayaking.
It is a short walk to Castellane, a pleasant town with charming old buildings and medieval walls.
The campsite has no restaurant but they offer a free pizza delivery service. You can buy fresh baguettes and croissants from reception during the peak holiday periods.
Castellane is 90km north west of Cannes, driving along the Route Napoleon/D6085 via Grasse.
Although the campsite has no child-specific facilities, it is family-friendly and children are made very welcome.
