Medieval Reenactments at Mornas Fortress

Weekend & summer opening for medieval reenactments

featured in Events calendar Updated

Mornas fortress is opening its doors (or portcullis?) during the weekends from April to June and September, and every day in July and August, for fun medieval reenactments.

Discover what medieval life was like inside the fortress as your guide takes you around the ancient site and characters pop out to tell you their stories. They'll tell you about daily life, military life and, although it's in French, you can still appreciate the demonstrations and the men in stocks!

The fortress is open from April to September. Reenactments take place at 11:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00. Tickets cost €9 for adults (€10 in July and August) and €7 for children under 11 (€8 in July and August). The fortress is not accessible to wheelchairs. Children should be supervised during the visit and dogs must be kept on a leash.
