La Courge en Fete Pumpkin Festival, Rians

Autumn brings plenty of harvest festivals to Provence, including this celebration of the humble pumpkin (and all sorts of gourds).

There will be games for children, circus acts, street parades, contests and, of course, lots of pumpkin and squash based recipes to try, as well as traditional Provencal cuisine.
