Foodie Hiking Days in Provence
A successful Rando Bistro summer season, with more on the menu
The Bistrot de Pays association organise regular days out for foodies to hike, discover local produce and taste some of Provence's finest flavours.
The Rando Bistro days are available throughout Provence and offer a guided walk through some stunning scenery, with visits on the way to meet local producers and artisans who will happily share their passion for food.
The highlight of a Rando Bistro day will always be the feast that awaits at one of the registered Bistrot de Pays restaurants.
The schedule for the guided tours (available in French only) is available online with a program that runs through to spring 2014.
A few upcoming highlights on the Rando Bistro tour include:
- 14th September: Wines form the hills - St-Martin-de-Castillon
- 18th October: Honey from the land of a thousand flavours - Lardiers
- 1st November: Hills & Rivers of Banon - Revest-des-Brousses
