Charming rustic hotel with beautiful gardens & Michelin starred cuisine
This stunning boutique hotel is situated at the base of the Grignan castle and has three different sites (The Main House, The Private House and the Mediterranean Garden) spread throughout the beautiful Provencal village.
Le Clair de la Plume has a total of 17 rooms, 12 standard rooms and 5 suites. All have been decorated to a high standard in a sophisticated traditional rustic style typical of this region. The suites tend to include additional extras such as TVs. If you stay in the Lovers Pavilion suite you will also have your own private terrace and garden.
The hotel's different sites have a couple of beautiful gardens that invite total relaxation and tranquillity and are also a fantastic place to enjoy breakfast or an aperitif. The grounds also include an organic swimming pool in which no chemicals are used and has views of the castle.
The hotel includes a renowned restaurant run by Julien Allano, a Michelin starred chef, whose motto with regards to cuisine is 'evolution in the tradition'. He has run a number of Michelin starred restaurants and choose to move to this hotel's restaurant in order to focus on bring out the best in fresh seasonal cuisine.
Situated at the base of the Grignan castle at the heart of a village surrounded by vinyards and wealth of historical sites. There is plenty to see and do in this area.
This pool is not just any pool, it is an organic swimming pool. No chemicals are used whatsoever so you can enjoy a truely natural experience. From the poolside, you can look out towards the castle.
Open every day of the year this restaurant presents stylish and mouth-watering classic French cuisine based on local fresh produce. Menus are between €25-35. Lunch is served between 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. and dinner between 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. During the summer months, you can enjoy your meal in the hotel's beautiful garden.

The airports of Mariselle and Lyon are about 1hr45 minutes from hotel.
By Train:
The nearest TVG station is Montelimar about 40 minutes by car. Alternatively Avignon TGV station is just over an hour away.
By Car:
Take Autoroute A7. leave at exit 18 'Montelimar Sud'. After the toll gate, take the direction of Nyons / Valreas. After approximately 3 kilometres, follow the direction of Grignan / Gap (after turning left, route D133). Grignan will then be approximately another 15 kilometres.
Children of any age are welcome. Cots and extra beds can be provided at extra cost.
