Self-taught musician from an early age, Hans Zimmer was first started his music career in London as a composer of jingles. With the help of his mentor Stanley Myers, he learned the craft of composing film music.
His career took off in 1989 with Rain Man; since everything follows. Thelma & Louise, True Romance, The Prince of Egypt, Gladiator and most recently the Pirates trilogy Caribbean and Da Vinci Code.
