An impressive 12th century fortress was transformed during the Renaissance to produce a wonderful stately home, which is now a stunning hotel with 25 bedrooms.
The rooms contain antique furniture and luxurious linens, and are fully equipped with flat screen TV and bathroom amenities. For that extra bit of luxury the Lavender room have its own private Jacuzzi.
The gourmet restaurant specialises in truffles during the season, and guests can choose to dine on the lovely terrace.
