Experts have recently confirmed the authenticity of a sketchbook, whose existence was known only to a handful of people, as one of Vincent Van Gogh's.

The book contains more than 10 sketches previously unseen by the anyone except the owners and an official from Seuil publishing house.

No details of where the sketchbook came from, or its anticipated selling price have been released, but what we do know is that it will be uncovered at a press conference in Paris in November this year.

Van Gogh's work has been known to sell for millions of euros, such as the "Portrait of Dr Gachet" which sold for 152 million dollars, or 134 million euros when it was sold in 1990.

If you're in Provence this summer you can visit the "Modernising Tradition" exhibition of some of his work in Arles.
