Stylish & romantic country guest-house in Provence
Villa Josephine is located in the middle of the Var region of Provence on the outskirts of the market town of Lorgues.
It is a beautifully decorated (and excellently priced) guest house with five bedrooms that offers evening meals and cookery courses.
The bedrooms are romantically designed, with satellite TV, internet and privates terraces. Outside there is an elegant swimming pool where you can relax and enjoy a glass of wine or a house cocktail.
Some of Provence's prettiest hilltop villages are just a short drive away, or if you prefer, you can borrow mountain bikes to explore the area.
In the village of Lorgues, is situated with the famous "Côtes-de-Provence" wine making area between the gulf of Saint Tropez and the Grand Canyon du Verdon. It is just 22 minutes from the beautiful village of Tourtour (village in the sky) and approximately an hour from both St Tropez and Cannes.
The heated swimming pool is just off the terrace and is surrounded by sandy pebbles and the green luscious garden. There are wicker deck chairs with parasols where you can relax an unwind under the Provençal sun.
There is no bar as such but you can enjoy cocktails, wine and champagne by the pool during their cocktail hours.

By Air:
Marsaille Airport is a 1hr 20 minute journey from the hotel. Alternatively Nice is 1hr and 10 minutes.
By Car:
From Lyon, Marseille, Aix, (A8) et Toulon (A57), take the exit for Le Luc, Le Cannet des Maures, following signs to Le Thoronet, Lorgues, Les Salettes. Once approaching Lorgues follow signs to Salernes, then Saint Antonin (RD 50). After 2 km from Lorgues cross the small hamlet "Salettes" and after 900m turn right, direction "Salettes 2 - Sainte Foi". The hotel is just there on the right hand side.
By Train:
The closest TGV station is in Nice, approximately 1hr and 15 minutes away.
The hotel has not restrictions on children staying.

Châteaudouble is a pretty village with a history that dates back to the 12th century. It sits high in the hills above Draguigan in the Var, and is surrounded by beautiful woodland.
