Saint Saturnin les Apt sits on the edge of the Luberon forest at the foot of the mountains in Vaucluse.
In the village you'll find a small chapel, the ruins of a medieval village, a church with a tall spire and two windmills, only one of which still has its original sails.
The village is known for its produce, namely cherries, olive oil, lavender and wine, and the views from the top over the surrounding countryside are definitely worth a visit.
On a hot day you can take a dip in the municipal swimming pool in the centre of the village which has a lifeguard and a small café for snacks and drinks.
Guided tours of the village are available through the tourist office.
