Luxurious bed and breakfast with its own vineyard in the Luberon region
This boutique B&B is located in the wine domain of ‘Les Roullets’ in the heart of Provence at the foot of the Luberon mountain range.
There are five spacious guestrooms and one gite, all with their own private terrace. The rooms are luxuriously furnished and feature double box spring beds, satellite TV, iPod, ensuite facilities, bathrobes, slippers and air conditioning.
Not only does the estate produce its own wine but it also has extensive landscaped gardens with lavender, cypresses, an orchard, a kitchen garden, an olive grove and a truffle forest. Chairs and tables are dotted about so that you can relax and take it all in, or you can get into the French spirit of things with a leisurel games of pétanque.
Breakfasts are hearty, using produce from the local market, fruit and vegetables from the orchard, freshly baked bread, pastries and home-made jams. Breakfast can be served on the terrace overlooking the pool and ornamental gardens.
Although meals can be organised on request, the B&B also has a kitchen where guests can prepare their own food.
The B&B is located on a large estate and is surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and forests. It is about a 15 minute walk from the nearest village of Oppede le Vieux.
The heated swimming pool has a large terrace equipped with sun loungers.
The B&B does not have a restaurant as such but breakfast is served daily and cheese and charcuterie plates can be ordered throughout the day. The hosts sometimes organise evening barbecues and hog roasts and they are happy to order meals from local restaurants on request.
The estate is about 40km east of Avignon on the D900, or 75km north of Marseille airport on the A7.
