This charming hotel is housed in a former XVIIIth century residence, on a beautiful green three-hectare estate above the small village of Sauveterre in the heart of Provence.
Looking out over the wonderful view of the Rhone valley, the hotel offers comfortable and luxurious accommodation in a peaceful setting. 11 bedrooms and 2 suites are all furnished individually with period furniture and equipped with air-conditioning, king size beds and ensuite bathrooms.
The chateau grounds are home to landscaped gardens with a natural spring and ornamental fountains, an outdoor swimming pool and a tranquil terrace where you can enjoy breakfast or relax with a drink. There is also a play area for children with swings and a slide.
Breakfast can be served in the dining room or on the terrace and consists of fruit juices pressed by the local farmer, homemade jams, honey produced by a beekeeper from Roquemaure, and fresh bread, croissants, pains au chocolat, fougasse delivered by the village baker.
The hotel is an ideal base from which to visit Avignon, Pont du Gard, Saint Rémy de Provence and Châteauneuf de Pape wine cellars. The surrounding countryside offers lots of outdoor activities and the hotel itself has marvellous views of Mont Ventoux and Luberon.
The château is well equipped for conference and business trips, with a seminar room that can be configured however is required and equipped with WiFi, video projector and sound system.

The neighbourhood
The chateau sits in a quiet rural area just above Sauveterre, a small village that has existed since medieval times and still bears traces of its history. Lots of local produce is grown on the flat former flood plain of the Rhöne River, including apples, melons, pumpkins and asparagus.
The pool
The swimming pool is fenced in for the safety of children. It is surrounded by a sunbathing terrace with sun loungers and shade can be found beneath the trees and parasols.
The Restaurant
The chateau restaurant serves a fine breakfast each morning composed of local fruit juices, jams, bread, ham, cheese, eggs and pastries. Lunch and dinner must be booked in advance and can be enjoyed either in the dining room or outside on the terrace. The menu changes daily and is inspired by the fresh produce grown on local Provencal soil. The chef can take all dietary requirements into account.
