The neighbourhood

The chateau sits in a quiet rural area just above Sauveterre, a small village that has existed since medieval times and still bears traces of its history. Lots of local produce is grown on the flat former flood plain of the Rhöne River, including apples, melons, pumpkins and asparagus.

The pool

The swimming pool is fenced in for the safety of children. It is surrounded by a sunbathing terrace with sun loungers and shade can be found beneath the trees and parasols.

The Restaurant

The chateau restaurant serves a fine breakfast each morning composed of local fruit juices, jams, bread, ham, cheese, eggs and pastries. Lunch and dinner must be booked in advance and can be enjoyed either in the dining room or outside on the terrace. The menu changes daily and is inspired by the fresh produce grown on local Provencal soil. The chef can take all dietary requirements into account.

Directions

The chateau is 14km north of Avignon Caumont airport, 56km north east of Nîmes Alès Camargue, or 95km north west of Marseille Provence airport.
